He was 71 years old. Memorial services will be held Wednesday June 7, 2006 at Columbia Funeral Service Chapel in Longview, Washington. Jerry was born June 25, 1927 in Clonsella, Oklahoma to James and Katherine (Brewer) Bailey. Jerry married Walma Mclean November 8, 1952 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Jerry attended school in Oklahoma City. After school he went to work to help support his family. He then went into the Army for a short period of time. He then started farming in Oklahoma until 1960 at which time he moved to Washington and started working in the logging industry for Weyerhaeuser Forrest Products as a band wrapper until his retirement. His hobbies include fishing, hunting, gambling, spending time with his family and friends and working on cars. Survivors include his daughters, Linda Reynolds of Prineville, OR, and Wynona Keele of Silver Lake, WA; one son, Ronald Bailey of Castle Rock, WA, seven grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister, and his wife. Memorial contributions may be made to Prineville Memorial Hospital Hospice, 1201 N.E. Elm Street, Prineville, OR 97754 Columbia Funeral Service Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
