She was born Feb. 22, 1933, in Waseca, Minn., to Walter and Thelma (Robinson) Johnson and graduated from high school there. Mrs. Baker was a homemaker. She lived in the Kalama and Longview areas for the past 19 years, coming from Junction City, Ore. She married Bruce Norman Baker in September 1957 in Junction City. He preceded her in death in 1998. Mrs. Baker is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Karen Baker; a brother, David Johnson; four grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; two great- grandchildren; and five nieces and nephews. No service will be held. Burial at sea will take place at a later date. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Cascade Northwest Funeral Chapel at Green Hills Memorial Gardens & Crematory.
