He was born Feb. 18, 1948, in Klamath Falls, Ore., to Amos and Loree (Buckingham) Bierly and was raised in Madras, Ore. Mr. Bierly received a marketing degree at Oregon State University. Most recently, he was a heavy equipment parts salesman at Evergreen Parts and Equipment. In 1976 he moved to Woodland and lived there for 25 years before moving to Sparks, Nev. He recently moved to Vancouver. He married Rae Wilson on Nov. 29, 1975, in Longview. She survives him. Also surviving are three sons, Chris Bierly, Aaron Bierly and Mathew Bierly; three daughters, Janet Eyres, Debra Bierly-Williams and Angela Bierly; two brothers, Kenneth Bierly and Rufus Bierly; two sisters, Carol Bond and Anita Lee; his mother and stepfather, Loree and Clayton Fox; and 10 grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Woodland Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Viewing will be from noon to 5 p.m. today at Woodland Funeral Home and from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the church.
