 Richard Blamires, 63, of Silver Lake died May 21, 2006. 

He was born Jan. 19, 1943, in Twin Falls, Idaho, to Allen and Ruth (McClanahan) 
Blamires. He attended Jerome High School in Jerome, Idaho, and Idaho State 
University. 

Mr. Blamires served in the Marines and retired in 2002 as a USDA farmer. 

He married Carol Ann Richards on May 4, 1968, in Jerome. She survives him. Also 
surviving are three daughters, Tina Paice, Lora Jacobsen and Lana Smith; two 
sons, Tracey Blamires and Terry Blamires; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-
grandchildren. 

A service will be held in Idaho. Cremation has taken place under the direction 
of Dahl-McVicker Funeral Home. His ashes will be scattered in Idaho.
