She was born March 18, 1918, in Washburn, Wis. to Mathias and Helga Wahamaki. She graduated from Ondasagin High School and attended beauty school in Milwaukee. Mrs. Booth worked in a beauty shop in Ashland, Wis. and Milwaukee and worked in an aircraft parts plant during World War II. She moved to Winlock and married Keith Booth. He preceded her in death in 1994. After suffering a stroke in 2004, Mrs. Booth moved to the Sharon Care Center in Centralia. Survivors include her children, Gail Ettelson, Randy Booth, Debbie Travis and John Booth; a sister, Betty Seely; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Winlock Methodist Church. The viewing will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at Cattermole Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Winlock Ambulance Fund, P.O.Box 708, Winlock, WA 98596.
