Louis W. Bowling, 55 of Kelso died Jan 17, 2006. He was born Nov. 13, 1950 in 
Glendive, Mont. to William E. and Helen L. (Moholt) Bowling and has lived in 
Cowlitz County for 46 years. He graduated from R.A. Long High School in 1969 
and attended Lower Columbia College. He was married in April 13, 1970 in Las 
Vegas, NV to Julie Norman. Louis served in the Navy from 1970 to 1974. He was 
an Electrical Contractor for 16 years and started Bowling Electric, Inc. in 
1989. He was also a member of IBEW 970 and served on Executive Board until 
starting his own business. He was a former Master Counselor in DeMolay in the 
60's and active as an assistant Scout Master with his sons during their 
scouting years. He was also a member of the Kelso-Longview Elks, American 
Legion and previous Democratic Precinct Committeeman. 

Louis Bowling is survived by his wife, Julie Bowling; two sons, Eirikr Tybjom 
of Seattle, WA and Ian Bowling of Snohomish, WA; two sisters, Rebecca Gruman of 
Olympia, WA and Brenda Bowling of Portland, OR; his mother, Helen Moholt-Dual; 
a grandchild, 2 nieces and three nephews. He is preceded in death by his 
father, William E. Bowling. 

He enjoyed the beach, golf, telling stories and relaxing with friends. Louis 
was very proud of his sons and adored his granddaughter, Hannah. 

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Kelso-Longview Elks.
