She was born April 2, 1937, in Douglas, Ariz., to Hans and Melba Claussen. She graduated from Winlock High School in 1955, Washington State University and from Iowa State University in 1972 with a B.A. in English education. Mrs. Clark worked at ISU College of Veterinary Medicine and Wandling Engineering. She lived in Prosser/Grandview, Wash., Ames, Iowa, Pullman and retired to Wenatchee in 1998. She married Raymond Clark on Sept. 11, 1955. He survives her. Also surviving are four children, James Clark, Michael Clark, Daniel Clark and Rebecca Clark; three siblings, Guy Claussen, Kerry Claussen and Lynn Tangvald; and six grandsons. A memorial service was held April 29 in Wenatchee. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice, in care of Central Washington Hospital, 903 Red Apple Road, Wenatchee, WA 98801; CASA, P.O.
