Letty Lula Clark, 79, of Longview died June 16, 2006, at Hospice Care Center. 

She was born Dec. 8, 1926, in Bemidji, Minn., to Forest and Lula (St. Peter) 
Dietel. She moved to the area in 1936 and graduated from R.A. Long High School 
in 1944. 

Mrs. Clark was a sales clerk at Fred Meyer for many years and a switchboard 
operator at Long-Bell Lumber Co. 

Her husband, Robert W. Clark, died in 2001. 

Survivors include a daughter, Kim Hooper; a son, Michael Clark; a brother, 
Rolland Dietel; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Steele Chapel. Private 
interment will follow at Longview Memorial Park.
