Izetta Ruth Clegg, 87, of Castle Rock, Washington died February 12, 2006 at 
Hospice Care Center. 

She was born August 16, 1918 in Holstein, Nebraska to Hulgar (H.H.) and Iva May 
(Routh) Nelson. She attended grade school and graduated from high school in 
Holstein in 1936. She married F.W. Clegg at Kenesaw, Nebraska on November 27, 
1945. They moved to Castle Rock in 1948 from California. Mrs. Clegg was a 
homemaker. She was a devoted wife, mom and grandma. She loved gardening, 
cooking, geneology and loved to do water color and oil painting, calligraphy 
and crocheting. She loved the holidays. Mrs. Clegg was a cub scout leader, 
Castle Rock Senior Citizen Volunteer, president and charter member of the Lower 
Columbia Geneological Society and member of Lower Columbia Woodcarvers 
Association. 

She is survived by her husband, F. Willard Clegg at home in Castle Rock; four 
sons, David O. (Corrine) Clegg of Longview, Duane L. (Dixie) Clegg of 
Broomfield, Colorado, Eugene R. (Gay) Clegg of Enumclaw, Washington and Roger 
A. (Susan) Clegg of Gretna, Nebraska; two sisters, Fern Karr of Holstein and 
Faye Kral of Hastings, Nebraska; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 1 
great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. 

A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at Steele 
Chapel at Longview Memorial Park. Private interment at Longview Memorial Park. 

Viewing will be held Saturday, 9 to 4, February 18, 2006 at Steele Chapel. 

Memorial donations may be made to Community Home Health & Hospice, P.O. Box 
2067, Longview, Washington 98632.

Arrangements are by Steele Chapel At Longview Memorial Park and Crematory.
