Walter Finas Copple Jr., 54, of Woodland died June 10, 2006. 

He was born Feb. 15, 1952, in Snyder, Texas, to Walter F. and Helen M. (Barnes) 
Copple. 

Mr. Copple graduated from Kelso High School in 1972. He lived in Portland for 
12 years and Woodland for two years. 

He served in the Navy SeaBees and was an owner and transportation worker for 
WFC Transportation Inc., out of Vancouver. 

Survivors include a son, Chad Riddle; four daughters, Anna Harris, Tamara 
Glaser, Sarah Bazan and Shannon Thomas; a sister, Nancy Plunkett; and six 
grandchildren. 

Two memorial services will be held: 2 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church 
in Longview; and 2 p.m. Friday at the Red Lion Inn at the Quay, Vancouver. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Veteran's Hospital, P.O. Box 1034, 
Portland, OR 97207. 

Arrangements are by Steele Chapel at Longview Memorial Park & Crematory.
