Esther Davis, 76, of Kelso died May 19, 2006. 

She was born Oct. 20, 1930, in Carthage, Mo., and graduated from a Carthage 
college with a degree in chemistry in 1952. She moved to Longview 12 years ago 
from Missouri. 

Mrs. Davis worked in a chemistry lab in Missouri before marrying Dorsie Davis 
and becoming a homemaker. He preceded her in death in January 1991. She later 
married Jack Davis. He preceded her in death May 13. 

Survivors include three children, Lonnie Davis, Duane Davis and Sandi Tindell; 
four stepchildren, Jacqueline Grodes Kaitlyn, Debi Williams Hartshorn, Michael 
Davis and Joel Davis; a brother; a sister; seven grandchildren; two great-
grandchildren; and numerous stepgrandchildren. 

A memorial service will be held for Esther and Jack Davis at 2 p.m. Sunday at 
Father's House Church. A family gathering will follow at 800 Walnut St., Kelso. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's 
Society of Washington, P.O. Box 4104, Bellingham, WA 98227 or Father's House 
Church, 1350 Commerce Ave., Longview, WA 98632.
