Patricia Louise DeLashmutt, 71, of Sandy, Ore., died March 23, 2006. 

She was born Jan. 28, 1935, in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., to George H. and Edith A. 
(Guider) DeVine. The family moved to the Rainier area in 1936 and she attended 
Rainier High School. 

Mrs. DeLashmutt worked for Bedell's Department Store in Portland before joining 
the Air Force. She worked for Pacific Northwest Bell and AT&T for 27 years. She 
retired in 1989. She also worked as an instructor for the Arthur Murray Dance 
Studio. She moved to Sandy in the early 1970s. 

She married Robert Smith. They later divorced. She married Robert DeLashmutt. 
They also divorced. 

Survivors include two sisters, DeeDee Rinck and Diane (last name unavailable); 
and numerous nieces and nephews. 

A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hudson II Cemetery in 
Rainier. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Home Health & Hospice, P.O. 
Box 2067, Longview, WA 98632. 

Arrangements are by Haakinson-Groulx Mortuary, Rainier.
