Lucille Eastman, 88, of Clatskanie died May 4, 2006. 

She was born Feb. 5, 1918, in Eagletown, Okla., to Walter C. and Agnes (Spain) 
Mann and attended schools in Hosston, La. 

In 1936, she married Richard Bounds. They later divorced. In 1953, she married 
Bryce H. Eastman. He preceded her in death. 

Mrs. Eastman was a cook in California at the Newport Harbor Yacht Club, the 
Balboa Bay Yacht Club in Newport and the Santa Anna Country Club before 
retiring to the Puget Sound area in the mid-1950s. 

She is survived by two sons, Travis Bounds and Charlie Bounds; two daughters, 
Terri Brajcich and Kathy Scruggs; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; six 
great-great-grandchildren; and two nieces. 

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Doernbecher Children's Hospital, 1121 
S.W. Salmon, Suite 201, Portland, OR 97205. 

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Haakinson-Groulx Mortuary, 
Clatskanie.
