Irene Pearl Eaton, 89, of Longview died Dec. 23, 2005.

She was born Sept. 12, 1916, in Portland to Ira and Leila (Marshall) Thornton 
and graduated from R.A. Long High School in 1935.  Mrs. Eaton was a secretary 
for a moving/transportation company.  She lived in Las Vegas and San Francisco 
for many years before returning to the local area four months ago.

Her husband, Gene Eaton, preceded her in death in 1975.

Survivors include a daughter, Sherry Rheaume; a brother, Ira W. Thornton Jr.; 
and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

No service will be held.

Arrangements are by Steele Chapel at Longview Memorial Park & Crematory.
