Alice Leona Ferrell, 87, of Longview died May 31, 2006. 

She was born June 3, 1918, in Akron, Colo., to Otto Amos and Minnie Dell 
(Shirley) Johnson and moved to the local area in 1927 from Idaho. She attended 
R.A. Long High School. 

Mrs. Ferrell was a homemaker. 

She married Lloyd S. Ferrell on Aug. 31, 1934, in Longview. He survives her. 
Also surviving are a son, Jack Ferrell; a daughter, Marjie Gregg; nine 
grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and 
numerous nieces and nephews. 

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Steele Chapel. The viewing 
will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. to service time Tuesday 
at the funeral home. Private entombment will take place at Longview Memorial 
Park.
