She was born December 14, 1927 in Raymond, Washington to Clinton and Eva Miles. Jeannie grew up in Tacoma where she graduated from Stadium High School. She was a member of The Order of the Rainbow For Girls where she served as Worthy Advisor. She attended the College of Puget Sound where she was a charter member of the Washington Gamma Chapter of Pi Beta Phi. Jeannie married her beloved husband Jack E. Field 40 years ago and moved to Longview. She was a member of The Longview Community Church and a member of Esther Circle. She was active in The Orthopedic Guild and The Toutle Ranch Lake Guild. Jeannie was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Past President of The Women's Association of the Longview Country Club, and an avid bridge player. Jeannie is survived and will be greatly missed by her loving husband Jack E. Field, her children Christine Weinlein, Shelley Furse, Doug Field and Rick Race. Her grandchildren are Matthew Furse, Laurie Furse Jones, Atticus Field, Natalie Field, Genevieve Field, Morgan Race, Megan Weinlein and Christopher Weinlein. She is also survived by four great grand children. A Celebration of Life for Jeannie Miles Field will be held Friday, February 10th, 2006 at 2:00PM at the Longview Community Church, 2323 Washington Way.
