Inez Lucille Froid, 90, of Kelso, Washington died October 17, 2005. 

She was born October 17, 1915 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of Wiktor 
Frojd and Matila (Stromberg). She came to Cowlitz County in 1940 from King 
County. She went through the 8th grade in Minnesota. Inez was married in 1934 
in North Dakota; and in 1970, in Kelso. She worked at Long Bell, Ben Pullens 
service station, and the Monticello Hotel. She retired at age 62. 

Memberships included the Cattleman's Association, Moose Lodge, American Legion. 
She enjoyed making costume jewelry, canning, gardening, flowers & food. Inez 
was an excellent cook and seamstress. No one every left her home without an 
armful of something. Our home was full of love, music, and laughter shared by 
many and the Lord. She was this family's icon! 

Inez was preceded in death by Jesse L. Turner, Shelly Turner, Bud Turner, 
Melody Forrest White, and James Halbrook. 

Survivors include three daughters, LaRita Bennett of Skamokawa, Washington, 
Willi M. Stockdale and Sharon P. Sears, both of Kelso; and three sons, Buddy 
Dale Turner of Kelso, David C. Turner of Longview, and Michael A. Turner, 
Castle Rock, Washington. 

Church services will be Saturday, October 22, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Church of 
Jesus Christ 

Latter Day Saints, 2884 Pacific Avenue N., Kelso, WA 98626. Burial will be at 
Cowlitz Gardens. Memorial contributions can be made to Community Home Health & 
Hospice, P.O. Box 2067, Longview, WA 98632. Green Hills Memorial Gardens is in 
charge of arrangements.
