Darlene Jacquelyn Garrett, 69, of Longview died March 19, 2006. 

She was born Nov. 29, 1936, in Portland to Robert W. and Otilla (Carpenter) 
Cooms. 

Mrs. Garrett was an administrator at Alameda Naval Base in California. She 
moved to Longview 10 years ago. 

She married David Gale Urban. They divorced after 23 years of marriage. Her 
second husband, Richard Lee Garrett, preceded her in death in June 2000. 

Mrs. Garrett is survived by three sons, David Urban Jr., Daniel Urban and 
Donald Urban; two daughters, DeAnna Villalobos and Denise Hayes; a sister, 
Patricia Ramsbottom; 16 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. 

A graveside service will be held at noon Monday at Willamette National 
Cemetery. 

Arrangements are by Steele Chapel at Longview Memorial Park & Crematory.
