William G. Gisselberg, 77, of Portland, died Dec. 22, 2005.

He was born Dec. 12,1928, in Astoria to Walter and Anna Gisselberg.  He grew up 
on Puget Island and attended Puget Island schools.

Mr. Gisselberg served in the Navy durring the Korean War from 1946 to 1955.  He 
retired as a truck driver in Portland in the early 1990's.

He is survived by three children, Kathy Olsen, Jenny Simon and Jim Gisselberg; 
two sisters, Helen Shaylor and Shirley Anderson; a brother, Bob Gisselberg; 
seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, at Gresham Funeral 
Chapel.  A Reception will follow at the funeral home.
