Susan Jane Greig, 65, of Longview, WA, passed away April 16, 2006. 

She was born November 21, 1940 in Kelso to Larry A. and Wilma J. Spreadborough. 
She spent her entire life in the local area and attended Toutle High School. 
She married Robert B. Barnes in Longview in October of 1957 and had 2 children, 
Randall U. Barnes and Rebecca (Becki) Rogers. They divorced in 1961. She later 
married David E. Greig Sr. in June of 1962 and had 2 children, David (D.J.) E. 
Greig Jr. and Cindy F. Greig. 

Susan enjoyed camping, family get-togethers, music, playing the accordion and 
bingo at the Kelso Eagles. She was a homemaker. 

She is survived by her mother, Wilma Spreadborough of Castle Rock, WA; 
brothers, William Spreadborough of Castle Rock and Larry (Butch) Spreadborough 
of Kelso; sisters, Clarice Cozad of Castle Rock and Lou Anne Cass of Longview; 
sons, Randy Barnes of Castle Rock and David (D.J.) Greig of Longview; and 
daughters, Becki Rogers of Clatskanie, OR and Cindy Greig of Kelso. She is also 
survived by 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nephews, 
nieces and friends. 

Susan was preceded in death by her father, Larry A. Spreadborough and grandson, 
Ronald D. Jackson. 

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 21, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the 
Seventh Day Adventist Church in Castle Rock with Marcia Stone officiating with 
a potluck to follow. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Foundation. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Columbia Funeral Service.
