Vernis June Grennon, 86, of Portland died may 1, 2006. 

She was born June 13, 1919, in Cozad, Neb., to Cecil and Mary (Love) McConnell. 
She graduated from Rainier Union High School in 1937. 

Mrs. Grennon was a homemaker. She moved to Portland 22 years ago. 

She married Glenn M. Grennon in 1937. He preceded her in death in 1980. 

Survivors include two daughters, Glenda Johnson and Patty Tucker; two sons, 
Dave Grennon and Gary Brown; a sister, Dorothy Clinebell; 12 grandchildren; 22 
great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. 

A private service will be held. 

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 
Memorials, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. 

Arrangements are by Telophase Cremation Services of Portland.
