Dennis Edward Guyon, 64, of Scappoose, died May 22, 2006, at Hospice Care 
Center in Longview. 

He was born on July 18, 1941, in Berkeley, Calif. 

Guyon served in the U.S, Air Force from 1959 to 1963. He worked for NCR, 
Floating Point System, ITT and the Oregon Lottery, where he retired in 2002. 

Guyon enjoyed soccer and was a founding member of the Scappoose Soccer Club. He 
played and coached for several years, and also coached the Scappoose High 
School girls soccer team. He loved trains and was involved with the Astoria 
Railroad Preservation Association. He enjoyed gardening and showing his 1951 
Packard in classic car shows. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Guyon and brother Robert Guyon. 

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Loretta Guyon, son Matthew Guyon, 
daughter-in-law Sally Guyon, daughter Dina Guyon O'Kelley, mother Mary 
Ginochio, sister Andrea Rogers and grandchild Mikhayla Noel. 

A celebration of life is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, at St. Wenceslaus 
Catholic Church in Scappoose. Interment will be in Lafayette, Calif., at a 
later date. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Community Home Health and Hospice, 
P.O.Box 2067, Longview, WA 98632. Columbia Funeral Service is in charge of 
arrangements.
