Carrie Violena Hammond, 44, of Longview died June 11, 2006, the result of lung 
cancer. 

She was born Oct. 4, 1961, in Coos Bay, Ore., to Harvey C. and Wilma L. 
(Groshong) Hammond. 

Ms. Hammond was a homemaker. She moved to Longview three years ago. 

She is survived by two sons, Mike Hammond and Johnny Kienbaum; two daughters, 
Crystal Kienbaum and Cheryl Kienbaum; three brothers, John Hammond, Chuck 
Hammond and Leonard Hammond; three sisters, Pamela Thomas, Janette Allen and 
Michelle Jenkins; and nine grandchildren. 

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral 
expenses. 

Arrangements are by Columbia Funeral Service.
