Leona Gail Hammonds, 67, of Kelso passed away on April 24, 2006. 

She was born November 20, 1938, in Altoona, Pa., to Leon and Vesta (Keith) 
Yetsko. The family moved to Duarte, California, in 1948 and she graduated from 
Monrovia High School in Monrovia, California. She moved to Kelso in 1976. Mrs. 
Hammonds was a homemaker who enjoyed collecting miniatures, taking trips with 
her husband and spending time with her grandchildren. She lived in Kelso for 
the past 30 years. Survivors include her husband, Will Rogers Hammonds of 
Kelso; three daughters, Kathy Bollie of Longview, Stephanie Perkins of Kelso, 
and Jennifer Heffernan of Woodland; a brother, Leon Yetsko of Portland, OR; two 
sisters, Janet Hargreaves of Moreno Valley, CA and Linda Stoutt of Longview; 
her mother, Vesta Yetsko of Moreno Valley, CA, and eight grandchildren, 
Christopher Bollie, Andrea Bollie, Michelle Bollie, Carina Bollie, Taryn 
Thorsen, Amber Thorsen, Rylee Perkins and Carly Vest. 

A private family service will be held. Arrangements are by Dahl-McVicker 
Funeral Home.
