She was born June 21, 1925 in Little River, Kansas to Clarence and Helen Heinly. She left her home in Kansas in 1948 and moved to Longview, Washington, where she had been a resident since May 15, 1952 she married Theodore (Gene) Hartsoch, a life-long resident of Longview. She was preceded in death by Gene, after 49 years of marriage. Mrs. Hartsoch was actively involved in community and church organizations throughout her life in Longview. She worked at the PUD for many years, was the neighborhood Avon and Home Interiors lady, and spent a decade as the proprietor of Anderson's market. Most importantly though, she was a wife, homemaker and mother. She is survived in death by her daughter Tara of Reno, Nevada and her son Mitchell of San Jose, California. Also surviving is one grandson, one sister, two brothers, and an extended family of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 24th. Memorials can be sent to the Trinity Luthern Church.
