Norman L. Hill, 98, of Longview died March 25, 2006. 

He was born March 14, 1908, to Jesse E. and Ellen Hill. His family moved from 
Pennsylvania to a farm near Beatrice, Neb., when he was three months old. 

Mr. Hill married Rachel McAlister in Nebraska, and they moved to Longview in 
1942. 

He was employed in road construction and then by Weyerhaeuser Co. for 30 years, 
retiring in 1972. 

Mr. Hill is survived by his wife of 75 years; a daughter, Barbara Kaiser; two 
brothers, George Hill and Frank Hill; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces 
and nephews. 

A family gathering will be held at a later date. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Home Health & Hospice, P.O. 
2067, Longview, WA 98632 or a hospice of choice. 

Arrangements are by Columbia Funeral Service.
