Connie Marie Huft, 40, of Vader died June 14, 2006, as the result of an 
automobile accident. 

She was born Jan. 18, 1966, in Eureka, Calif., to Gary and Joyce (Hensley) 
Elms. She attended Mark Morris High School and a nursing school in Sacramento, 
Calif. She moved to Vader seven years ago. 

She married Jeff Byrum in Longview. They later divorced. On Nov. 3, 2004, she 
married Steve Huft in Vader. 

Mrs. Huft was a homemaker. 

She is survived by her husband; her parents; a son, Jeffery Byrum; two 
daughters, Samantha Byrum and Tamara Huft; a sister, Vickey McMillan; a 
brother, Gary Elms Jr.; two grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces 
and nephews. 

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at House of Prayer for All 
Nations in Longview. For directions, call 636-5744 or 423-1107. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Connie Huft Memorial Account, No. 
571682, at Fibre Federal Credit Union to assist the family with funeral 
expenses. 

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Steele Chapel at Longview 
Memorial Park & Crematory.
