Robert Rollin "Bob" Hultquist, of Longview, Washington died February 27, 2006 
at St. John Medical Center. 

He was born December 3, 1919 in Ontario, Oregon to Albert Henry and Frances 
Virginia (Wysong) Hultquist. He grew up and lived in Wenatchee, Washington 
where he attended school. He attended the Universityof Washington and was a 
charter student at Wenatchee Valley Junior College. Bob moved to Longview in 
1941 and attended Lower Columbia College. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1942. 
Since he had R.O.T.C. training and a private pilot's license, he was selected 
as an Aviation Machinist and served in Honolulu, Hawaii three of 4 years. 

Bob retired from R & W Paper Company and Weyerhaeuser in 1989 after 25 years. 
He was married to Wilma (Wagoner) Hultquist, devoted wife and mother, who 
preceded him in death in 1987. He is survived by a son, Daniel of Kelso, 
Washington, daughter Nancy Hultquist of Sun Valley, Nevada and daughter Janice 
Provonsha and one grandson Jeremy of Sun Valley, Nevada. 

Bob moved to Campus Towers in 2001 enjoying fellowship and friends. He also 
enjoyed a full social calendar including men's prayer breakfast on Thursdays, 
volunteering with the CAP Meals on Wheels program and dancing with the Merry 
Mixers Dance Club and at the Moose Lodge. He also loved gardening activities.A 
memorial service will be held March 7, 2006 at 11:30a.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran 
Church.Memorial contributions can be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 2218 E. 
Kessler Blvd., Longview, Washington 98632 designated for the 2007 Sanctuary 
Renovation.
