She was born Jan. 23, 1921, in Kelso to James and Jessie (Flint) Parsons and attended Rose Valley School Mrs. Jackson was a homemaker and a lifelong local resident. She married Bernard Jackson in Derrington, Wash., on April 20, 1939. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Jackson is survived by three sons, Roland Jackson, Lawrence Jackson and Danny Jackson; three daughters, Bonnie Newman, Michelene Titus and Kathleen Harlin; three brothers, Donald Parsons, George Parsons and Stanley Parsons; two sisters, Arlene Clement and Carol DeWolf; 31 grandchildren; 37 great- grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Washington, P.O. Box 4104, Bellingham, WA 98227. A graveside service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Rose Valley Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, at the Kelso Eagles. Arrangements are by Dahl-McVicker Funeral Home.
