Mary Jane Jacques, 80, of Longview died June 12, 2006. 

She was born March 12, 1926, in Clarkston, Wash., to James Charles and Kathleen 
(Delaney) Martin. She graduated from Lapwai High School in Lapwai, Idaho, in 
1944. 

Mrs. Jacques was a riveter/welder during World War II. She moved to Longview in 
1951 from Lewiston, Idaho, and worked as a checker for Miller's Market. 

Her husband of 24 years, Wayne Gerald Jacques, preceded her in death in 1996. 

Mrs. Jacques is survived by two sons, Clyde Woods and Jerry Jacques; two 
daughters, Judy Nicholson and Susan Glassett; a brother, James Martin; a 
sister, Eileen Wilcox; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. 

A cryptside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Longview Memorial Park 
Mausoleum B. The viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to service time Thursday at 
Steele Chapel.
