Robert Harold Jewell, 82, of Ryderwood died Dec. 29, 2005.

He was born July 15, 1923, in Ottawa, Canada.  He grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, 
and lived in Vancouver, British Columbia, Chicago, Everett and Tacoma before 
moving to Ryderwood in 1993.

Mr. Jewell served in the Canadian Armed Forces Royal Air Force.  He was a 
salesman for dental products.  He was a U.S. citizen.  He attended the 
University of British Columbia and Northwestern University in Chicago, and 
received a bachelor's degree in social work from Central Washington University 
in Ellensberg.

He married Barbara Minto July 24, 1948 in Vancouver, B.C.  She survives him.

Also surviving are a son Mark Jewell; his daughter-in-law and caregiver, Doreen 
Jewell; a sister, Darlene Jewell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

No service will be held at this time.

Memorial contributions may be made to a chairty of choice.
