Joseph Herman John, a66, of Enumclaw, Wash, died Dec. 16, 2005.

He was born Nov. 27, 1939, in Tacoma.  He lived in Longview for 25 years before 
moving to Enumclaw two years ago.  

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Doris Gail Thompson; his mother, Winona 
John; five children, Susan Foster, Dianna Perdue, Peggy Hartwick, Nancy John 
and Joseph John II; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several 
siblings.

A memorial service was held Saturday in Nisqually.

Arrangements were by Edward's Funeral & Crematory, University Place, Wash.
