Nancy Konopski, 57, of Gaston, Ore., died May 18, 2006. 

She was born Sept. 29, 1948, in Watertown Village, Minn., to Raymond and Thelma 
(Thomas) Fritz. She moved to Forrest Grove, Ore., when she was 2 years old and 
graduated from Forrest Grove High School in 1966. 

Mrs. Konopski was a contract carrier for the Post Office in Seaside, Ore., and 
was a postal clerk in Rockaway, Ore., Boardman, Ore., and Gaston for the past 
two years. 

She married Vincent Konopski on March 13, 1967, in Kelso. He survives her. Also 
surviving are two daughters, Susan Konopski and Sally Shaffer; and four 
grandchildren, Nichole Konopski, Hannah Blomenkamp, Coby Shaffer and Kaden 
Shaffer; and 10 siblings. 

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Dahl-McVicker Funeral 
Home. The viewing will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to noon 
Thursday at the funeral home.
