She was born March 17, 1917, in Vigorilla, Alberta, Canada, to Jacob and Rosa (Batch) Bloom. She graduated from Jefferson High School in Portland. Mrs. Krohn operated a crane in the shipyards during World War II and was a clerk at Meier & Frank and JC Penney's. She moved to Scappoose, Ore., in 1966 and to Woodland in 1973. She married Howard Krohn in 1935. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Krohn is survived by a son, William Krohn; a daughter, Carnice Tellvik; a brother, Lawrence Bloom; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Church of the Nazarene in Woodland. Arrangements are by Woodland Funeral Home.
