Alice May Kuning, 72, of Longview died Dec. 24, 2005.

She was born May 7, 1933, in Longview to Almont and Bernice (Eastlick) 
Maynard.  She attended Woodland schools and lived in Longview most of her 
life.  Mrs. Kuning was a homemaker.

She married Richard Kuning on Sept. 15, 1956, in Longview.  He survives her.  
Also surviving are two daughters, Ada Hammond and Juanita Gumm; two brothers, 
Glen Maynard and Ralph Maynard; two sisters, Ethel Stewart and Viva Byorund; 
seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A service will be held at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made to 
a charity of choise.

Arrangements are by Steele Chapel at Longview Memorial Park & Crematory.
