She was born Jan. 1, 1917, in Holmes City, Minn., to John and Lydia (Olson) Olson. On May 1, 1938, she married Martin Leonard Larson in Alexandria, Minn. They moved to Longview 55 years ago. Mr. Larson preceded her in death in 1981. Mrs. Larson worked for Weyerhaeuser Co., as a grocery checker at the 15th Avenue Safeway for many years and was part owner of 20th Avenue Grocery with Chuck Haas for a time. She retired from maintenance with the Longview School District. Survivors include three daughters, Sharon Campbell, DeLois Scharnhorst and Dianne Waddell; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great- grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 2218 E. Kessler Blvd., Longview, WA 98632. Arrangements are by Columbia Memorial Funeral Chapel & Gardens, Pasco.
