Pauline D. Lawson, 88, of Longview died on December 20, 2005. 

She was born November 22, 1917 in Glenwood, Iowa to George Riley and Ollie M. 
Day. She made her home for many years in Colorado where she graduated from 
Golden High School in 1936. She married John E. Lawson there on October 25, 
1939. He preceded her in death on December 24, 1994. They have made their home 
in Longview for the past 25 years. She was a member of Calvary Community 
Church. She was a godly woman dedicated to her God, her family, and her church. 

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Phil and Pat Korthuis and 
Mark and Judy Stroud of Kelso, one son and daughter-in-law Jack and Marie 
Lawson of Westminster, Colorado. Also surviving her is one sister, Eunice Nease 
of Longview, ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and several nieces 
and nephews. 

A private family burial will take place followed by a celebration of her life 
at Calvary Community Church, 2655 38th Avenue, Longview at 2:00 p.m. Monday, 
December 26. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Calvary Commumity Church Fish 
Program or Community Home Health and Hospice, P.O. Box 2067, Longview, WA. 

Arrangements made by Columbia Funeral Service.
