Darlene C. Lingenfelter, 71 of Toledo, went to be with the Lord on January 18, 
2006 in Longview. 

She was born on December 1, 1934 in Rupert, ID to Gene and Ellen (Huyck) Cole. 
Darlene lived in Toledo for 33 years and spent time living in Cougar, Alaska, 
Kalama and Kelso. She is a 1953 graduate of Kelso High School. She married 
Bernard Lingenfelter in 1972 in Kelso. She worked as a cook in logging camps, a 
cashier and a pilot car and flagger for pole trucks. She enjoyed Fishing, loved 
movies, reading, and going with Evelyn, Dorothy and Corrine on their trips 
looking for places to have lunch. She was a member of the Christian Fellowship 
Church of Winlock and a sponsor for Alcohol Anonymous. 

Darlene is survived by her sons: Mitch Lindeken of Yacolt, Steve Lingenfelter 
of Ketchikan, AK, Dana Lingenfelter of Ketchikan, AK, Jesse Lingenfelter of 
Florida, Daughters; Valerie Thompson of Toledo, Vikki Bolden of Winlock, 
Charlotte McIntire of Longview, Karen Allison of Vancouver, Brothers; Marvin 
Cole of Longview and Gary Cole of Kelso, her first husband Walt Lindeken of 
Kennewick and her caregiver Sandy Lawrence, 18 grandchildren, 5 great 
grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by 
all who knew her. 

Viewing will be offered on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm, a 
Funeral will be on Monday, January 23, 2006 at 1:00 pm at Fir Lawn Funeral 
Chapel. 

Memorials may be made to Community Home Health and Hospice of Longview. 
Arrangements are under the direction and care of Fir Lawn Funeral Chapel.
