She moved to Longview in 1962 from Salem Oregon. Marylin graduated from Salem Senior High School in 1948. She was a wonderful wife (married in Portland, OR), mother, grandmother, great grandmother and worked at Kings Day Care. Marylin was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran, attended Emanuel Lutheran, was P.T.A. president, and was a board member and concession manager for Central Little League. She loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She loved the beach, reading, crossword puzzles, bowling, quilting, gardening, baking and church volunteering. Marylin was generous, compassionate, loving, strong-willed, supportive, sharp and very humorous. Her passion was being involved in her families' activities and supporting their endeavors and unifying the family. Survivors include: Husband Donald McClay of Longview, WA; Daughters: Debby Shelton of Winlock WA, Shelley Eisenberg of Battle Ground WA, Colleen Cramer of Portland OR, Karen Garner of La Center WA and Cheryl Soleim of Longview WA; Sons: Craig McClay of Chehalis WA, John McClay of Longview WA, David McClay of Castle Rock WA and Steven McClay of Centralia WA and 22 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be 2:00PM, Thursday, 1/26/06 at St. Paul Lutheran, Castle Rock WA with Pastor Robert Ross officiating. Viewing will be Wednesday, 1/25 from 1:00-4:00PM and prior to the Funeral Service on Thursday at Columbia Funeral Service.
