Louis Leroy McGee, 60, of Longview died May 12, 2006. 

He was born July 15, 1945, in Colby, Kan., to Louis Edward and Elsie Ellen 
(Howe) McGee. He moved to Longview in 1975. 

He married Erma Faye Caldwell in 1978, and he worked for Longview RV as a 
technician and as a carpenter. 

McGee also served in the Navy for four years during the Vietnam War. 

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Dwain Emery and Steve Emery; and three 
daughters, Carol Cardson, Heather McGee and Delene Urquidez; four brothers, Don 
Kelley, Ron Kelley, Jim Kelley and Arly Kelley; three sisters, Peggy Wilcox, 
Georgy Smith and Araline Oldham; 14 grandchildren; and five great-
grandchildren. 

A funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Steele Chapel at Longview 
Memorial Park. Viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and from 
10 a.m. until the funeral service Thursday.
