Rea Stuart Mitchell, 81, of Kelso died Jan 7, 2006.

He was born Feb. 29, 1924, in Craik, Canada, to Henry Monroe and Robina Jane 
(McIntosh) Mitchell.  He moved to Kelso at the age of 4 and attended Kelso 
schools.  Mr. Mitchell served in the Army and retired as a longshoreman in 1986.

He married Shirley Bryan on Sept. 5, 1952, in Toledo.  She survives him.  Also 
surviving are a son, Rama Mitchell; a brother, Ellis Mitchell; a sister, Jean 
Andersen, Three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Dahl-McVicker Funeral Home.  
The viewing will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Thursday and 9:00 a.m. to noon Friday 
at the funeral home.
