Dora M. Monroe, 92, of Winlock died Jan. 17, 2006.

She was born Dec. 29, 1913, in Lamar, Ark., to Margaret Ann and John Doss 
Morgan.  Mrs. Monroe lived in Anchorage, Alaska, for many years before moving 
to Winlock eight years ago.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 
years, Elvis Monroe.

Mrs. Monroe is survived by two sons, Eddie Monroe and John Monroe; a daughter, 
Doddie Saulnier; a sister, Wanda Webster; 12 grandchildren, 21 great-
grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cattermole Funeral Home in 
Winlock.
