Shawn Michael Moore, age 40, died November 4, 2005 at Tri-Cities Chaplaincy Hospice House in Kennewick, Washington after a long illness. He was born January 27, 1965 in Hillsboro, Oregon and lived in Kennewick since 1999. He was a life long machinist and worked last at Moore's Precision Machine and Fabrication. He is survived by his parents, Dennis and Maxine Moore, West Richland, WA; brothers Doug (Teri) of Kelso, WA, Nicholas (Linda) of Portland, OR; sister Denise (Peter) Mahoney of Spokane, WA; grandmother Ida Harris; nieces Erin, Maureen and Shannon Mahoney and Stephanie and McKenzie Moore; nephew Dustin Moore. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He lived in Hillsboro, Eugene and Beaverton, Oregon until age twelve when he moved with his family to Longview, WA. Shawn was a 1983 graduate of Kelso High School, Kelso, WA and attended Clover Park Vocational Tech School in Tacoma, where he learned the art of machining. He lived in the Longview-Kelso area until he moved to Kennewick. He enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling and golf, but his greatest passion was skydiving. Grandparents W.A. Harris and Florence and Daniel Moore preceded him in death. At 10:00 AM Saturday, November 12, 2005, Father Thomas Champoux celebrated a funeral mass for the family in the chapel at Christ the King Church, Richland. Shawn's final resting place will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Richland. Those who wish to make a memorial donation in Shawn's name may send it to either the Tri-Cities Chaplaincy Hospice, 2108 W.
