Mary Ann Powell, 64, of Kelso died Jan. 7, 2006.

She was born Nov. 12, 1941, in Eureka, Calif. to Austin and Lantha (Scherik) 
Broon.  Mrs. Powell lived in the local area for 40 years and was a property 
manager for Pacific Properties.

She married Duane Powell on Nov. 25, 1959, in Crescent City, Calif.  He 
survives her.  Also surviving are four sons, Duane Powell Jr., John Powell, 
Delbert Powell and Jay Powell Sr.; a daughter, Holli Fischer; two brothers, 
Terrance Hill and Ted Veramonte; two sisters, Ramona Stevens and Martha Hill; 
26 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Valley View Church of 
God.  The viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at Steele Chapel at 
Longveiw Memorial Park & Crematory.  Memorial contributions may be made to the 
Valley View Church of God Memorial Fund,  1435 33rd Ave, Longview WA 89632
