Zora Evelyn Rafanan, 94, of Woodland died May 14, 2006. 

She was born June 19, 1911, in Bucoda, Wash., to James and Fanny Ann (Badgely) 
Gilbert. She attended schools in Wapata, Wash. 

She married Celis Rafanan in 1952. He preceded her in death in 1992. 

Mrs. Rafanan served in the WACS stationed in Tacoma. She operated a dairy in 
California, was a mental health worker in California and assisted her husband 
on their Wapata farm for a number of years. 

She is survived by two daughters, Antonia Thompson and Eleanor Romero; 10 
grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. 

A private service will be held. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Ridgefield Nazarene Church Library 
Fund, 747 Pioneer, Ridgefield, WA 98642.
