Ronald Edward Richmond, 59, of Cathlamet died May 14, 2006. 

He was born April 25, 1947, in Yakima to Max and Nellie (Ahart) Richmond. 

Mr. Richmond served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He worked at Yakima 
Waste Systems for 28 years, retiring as a foreman. He moved to Cathlamet six 
years ago and installed fire sprinklers for a living. 

He married Lois Kay Hepner on Aug. 24, 1968, in Yakima. She survives him. Also 
surviving are a son, Jeff Richmond; three brothers, Charlie Richmond, Don 
Richmond and Kenny Richmond; two sisters, Sherry Richmond and Cheryl Womack; 
his mother; and four grandchildren. 

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at West Hills Memorial 
Park in Yakima. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Ronald McDonald House, care of Longevin-
Mussetter Funeral Home, 1010 W. Yakima Ave., Yakima, WA 98902.
