Larry Oliver Rodal, 67, of Cathlamet died May 31, 2006.

He was born Nov. 4, 1938, in Westport, OR,  to Halvor and Olive (Brecke) 
Rodal.  He graduated from Wahkiakum High school in 1956 and was a longtime 
resident of Cathlamet.

Mr. Rodal served in the Army Reserve as a corporal.  He was a commercial 
fisherman in Kenai and Cooks Inlet in Alaska and on the Columbia River.  He 
also trolled the Pacific for a few years.

He is survived by his mother, Olive Rodal; a sister Helen Jolly; two nieces; 
and a great-niece.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Saturday at Dowling Funeral Home.
