Carlyle William Ross, 76, of Longview died March 18, 2006. 

He was born March 4, 1930, in Reedsport, Ore., to Carl and Minnie 
(Hoffenbradle) Ross. He moved to the local area 60 years ago from St. Helens, 
Ore. 

Mr. Ross was a grocery store clerk. 

His wife, Evelyn (Bannister) Ross, preceded him in death. 

Survivors include four stepchildren, Jay, Joyce, Jill and Julie (last names 
unavailable); three sisters, Doris Robinson, Barbara Horn and Elaine Peckham; 
and numerous nieces and nephews. 

At his request, no service will be held. Buriel has taken place at Longview 
Memorial Park under the direction of Columbia Funeral Service.
