Eric Christian Sanders, 95, of Rainier, died Jan. 9, 2006.

He was born Nov. 17, 1910, in Hashita, N.M. to John Elam and Sarah (Jorgensen) 
Sanders.    Mr. Sanders had lived in the Goble and Rainier area since 1947.

He and Rachel Low were married May 19, 1936. She preceded him in death on July 
23, 2004.

Survivors include two sons, Erie Sanders and John Sanders; two daughters, Carol 
A. Dennis and Kathryn McCollam; three brothers, Elmo Sanders, George Sanders 
and Douglas Sanders; three half-sisters, Lola, Carol, and Norma (last names 
unavailable); 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-
grandson.  

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Hudson ll Cemetery in 
Rainier.  

Memorial contributions may be made to Community Home Health & Hospice, P.O. Box 
2067, Longview, WA 98632.  

Haakinson-Groulx Mortuary of Rainier is in charge.
