Vella Dale Secor, 77 of Longview, passed away at the St. John Medical Center on 
December 12, 2005. 

She was born September 5, 1928, to Guy E. and Neoma U. (McCarty) Wise in 
Longview, Washington. She worked for Professional Communications as an operator 
from 1974-1989. Vella was an active member of the V.F.W. Aux. 1045 and her 
church. Vella never missed a Mariners game and enjoyed time with her 
grandchildren & great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William A. Secor; son, 
William D. Secor; daughter, Mary C. Secor, and son, Chris G. Secor. Survivors 
include three daughters, Ruby Nail of Kelso, Janet Kubi of Kelso and Debra 
Parks of Nevada; and son, Gary Lee Secor of Sedro Wooley, Washington. Also 
three brothers and one sister; nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. 

Those who wish to pay their respects may do so Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at 
Columbia Funeral Service from 9:00am to 5:00pm. A Rosary will also be held 
Tuesday at 7:00 pm at Columbia Funeral Chapel, a funeral mass will be held at 
the Immaculate Heart of Mary on Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at 12:15. 

Columbia Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
